The fastest delivery in the UK
Every single plant that comes through The Rare Plant Scout travels via air cargo and/or express delivery. That means your plant is packaged, in the air, and can be with us within 28 hours of leaving the grower!
Once your plants arrive with us they are carefully inspected, repackaged with love and care, and sent out to you as quickly as possible. From a grower's hands to yours in just a few days.

Ordering through the website
Buying through the website is the simplest way to shop with us. Browse Growers Choice, catch a Special Drop, or join a Live Sale, then place your order directly through The Rare Plant Scout.

Order and payGrowers Choice and Special Drop purchases are paid for immediately at checkout. Live Sale plants are invoiced afterwards instead. Note: plants are imported and will not be shipped immediately.

We confirm with the growerBefore your order moves any further, we confirm directly with the grower that your exact plant is available and in good health.

Your plant shipsYour plant travels on its scheduled import date. Occasionally that date shifts, international shipping can be affected by matters entirely outside our control, extreme weather or wider global events among them. If this happens and you'd rather not wait, you're entitled to a full, free refund.

Arrival and inspectionOnce your plant reaches us, it's carefully inspected and repackaged before being sent onward. Your plant arrives within 7 days of your shipping date, using whichever delivery method you selected. Fancy Royal Mail insurance on top? Email us your order number and we'll arrange it.

Delivered to your doorBacked by our plant guarantee. As these plants have travelled a long way, occasional leaf loss or minor cosmetic marks are normal and not a sign of a problem. If something is genuinely wrong, contact us with photos within 24 hours of delivery and we'll arrange a replacement, credit, or refund.

Plant passport includedAll plants ordered through the website come with a plant passport issued by The Rare Plant Scout, confirming your plant has been legally imported and is fully compliant with UK plant health regulations.
